While installing My new iPod, I selected "Automatically update my ipod from the library" but now I can't switch it back to "manual!"

How do I de-select that option and manually add and remove songs and playlists from my ipod (video ipod, the new one) using itunes?

I can't find the option on how to rectify this anywhere!!!

Thank you
Seeking cheap, compact (Elph-like in size), digital camera with pretty good to great quality, OPTICAL zoom (3x preferred), and rechargable batteries.

Any advice?

The photos are just to basically replace disposable point and shoot. Something small, tough, hopefully unlikely to break. The cheaper the better. 2 or 3mp, more would be great, too.

Let me know thank you :)
